We aim at offering high quality products at attractive prices while ensuring quick service for our customers.
Our lab examines each batch of the product leaving the factory. We check many parameters of produced fabrics e.g. abrasion resistance, tear strength, colour fastness, we run fire testing and many other tests. Our products have gone through a number of examinations, acquired various certificates enabling us to sell them to very demanding markets.
Thanks to over one hundred years of experience, understanding needs of our customers, our flexibility and ongoing development of our offer we have been able to reach success in the market.
History of our company
In Kalisz in 1907 brothers Ernst, Ludwig and Hugo Müller started up a factory called “Müller Brothers and Company”. In 1912 August Grimes joined the company and production of pile fabrics was started.
In 1920s Edmund Geade became the company’s majority shareholder. Range of products grew significantly. Among others the factory produced cord fabrics, velveteen, furniture plush, train and car plush, curtains, bedspreads and woollen carpets.
After the World War II further development came. Current production building was raised in 1961. Since 1969 the company adopted the current name - RUNOTEX. In 1970s production capacity reached up to eight million linear metres of woven and knitted fabrics per year.
Currently RUNOTEX is a Polish private company producing woven and knitted fabrics for furniture, transportation, clothing, technical and decorative purposes and many other sectors.
